How Do I Get Started?
Easy peasy. If you haven't already created a personal DOES account simply visit DOES.co and click 'Register a Directory Account.' Fill out the form, make your payment, and start editing your Directory listing.
How do I pay?
It is actual pretty seamless. After you create your Directory listing, you will be prompted to complete your setup by clicking on the "Pay Now" button. You can enter your credit/debit card directly online using our payment provider; the same one used by Uber, StubHub, and OpenTable.
How does the Community Info Guide work?
It's pretty simple actually. When you purchase a Premium+ Membership you are automatically eligible for inclusion in locally distributed municipal community information guide some time during your membership. Simply fill out this form and your coupon/ad will be included to the households in your local municipality. DOES cannot guarantee which day the mailer will be sent or received.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DIRECTORY LISTING AND AD SPACE?
A lot actually. A business listing is your businesses vitals, personal webpage, calling card, photo gallery, and more. Basically it's your dedicated space that is searchable and reviewable to your local customers.
Your ad space is another tool used to market to your local customers who are engaging on other parts of DOES. Your business is listed on all sections of the website, AND app, in your local area. Best part, your ad links users back to your DOES Directory listing.
WHAT'S AN ADVERTORIAL?
Great question. An advertorial is a advertised editorial. Meaning your business can create and post up to two advertorials on the news section per month. By posting stories on the news section you are giving your business increased exposure on the most highly visited section of DOES. So go ahead, introduce yourself, tell the community your story, promote a special event/sale, let your local customers know about your businesses generosity in the community, or something else awesome about you and your business.
AM I REQUIRED TO OFFER A PERK?
Nope. DOES believes in giving small businesses as many tools to reach our audience, and your customers, as possible. Offering a DOES exclusive discount, coupon, or incentive is yet another way of marketing your business. However, if you do not want to take advantage of the Perks program, don't sweat it. You can change your mind anytime during your membership.
